Study visit to the Supertree Grove at Gardens by the Bay

Horticultural study in a tropical city

Matthew traveled to Singapore in April 2026 with his nine-student Longwood cohort to study horticulture in a tropical climate.

Visits included Gardens by the Bay and Jewel Changi Airport, with attention to public gardens and the relationship between planting and the city.

The cohort's three plant sales helped support the trip. The production work and the study visit have their own records.
